How to report an error in a WiseCalc calculator, how quickly we respond, and our public log of substantive fixes.
We would rather be corrected than be wrong
WiseCalc is a "your money or your life" tool, so accuracy matters more than ego. If a formula, a default value or a worked example looks wrong to you, please tell us. Reader reports are one of the ways we keep the calculators correct, and we treat them seriously.
How to report an error
The fastest way is email: hello@wisecalc.net. You can also use the contact page. To help us reproduce and fix the issue quickly, please include where you can:
- The calculator name or page URL.
- The exact inputs you entered.
- The result you got and the result you expected.
- A source or formula reference, if you have one.
How quickly we respond
We aim to acknowledge every report within 7 days. If the report points to a genuine error in a formula or a statutory value, we prioritise the fix and publish it as soon as it is verified — usually well inside that window. Cosmetic or wording issues are batched and addressed in the next review. If a report turns out not to be an error, we will reply and explain why, so the question is answered either way.
How we handle a correction
- Reproduce the reported result.
- Re-derive the correct value independently against the standard model or official source.
- Fix the calculator, the affected examples and any related explainer text.
- Record substantive fixes in the log below, with the date and what changed.

Як повідомити про помилку
Найшвидше — поштою: hello@wisecalc.net. Також можна скористатися сторінкою контактів. Щоб ми могли швидко відтворити і виправити проблему, по можливості вкажіть:
- Назву калькулятора або URL сторінки.
- Точні вхідні дані, які ви ввели.
- Отриманий результат і результат, який ви очікували.
- Джерело чи посилання на формулу, якщо воно у вас є.
Як швидко ми відповідаємо
Ми прагнемо підтвердити кожне повідомлення впродовж 7 днів. Якщо повідомлення вказує на справжню помилку у формулі чи законодавчому значенні, ми пріоритезуємо виправлення і публікуємо його щойно воно перевірене — зазвичай значно швидше за цей строк. Косметичні чи текстові правки збираються разом і вносяться під час наступного перегляду. Якщо виявиться, що це не помилка, ми відповімо і пояснимо чому, тож питання буде закрите в будь-якому разі.
Як ми опрацьовуємо виправлення
- Відтворюємо повідомлений результат.
- Незалежно перераховуємо правильне значення за стандартною моделлю чи офіційним джерелом.
- Виправляємо калькулятор, відповідні приклади і пов'язаний пояснювальний текст.
- Фіксуємо суттєві виправлення в журналі нижче — з датою і описом зміни.

Суттєвих виправлень поки що не публікувалося. Коли формулу чи законодавче значення буде виправлено, його перелічать тут із датою і коротким описом зміни.
